The Ferrari FF has been unveiled online with the first?photographs?of the new grand-tourer going on show at Ferrari.com

The car is said to be the "most powerful, versatile four-seater ever" and is the luxury sports car maker's first ever four-wheel drive car.

The FF stands for Ferrari Four, referring to the fact that it has four seats as well as the four-wheel drive option.

The Ferrari FF has the largest Ferrari capacity engine ever produced, a 6.3-litre naturally aspirated V12, which produces 660 PS (485 kW; 651 hp) at 8,000 rpm and 683 N?m (504 lb?ft) of torque at 6000 rpm.

Ferrari's patented four-wheel drive, called 4RM, weighs 50 per cent less than a conventional four-wheel drive system, to better aid weight distribution (53 per cent over the rear axle). There's a dual-clutch F1 gearbox, can hit 100km/h om just 3.7-seconds.

You can choose six model-specific exterior colours (but you'll opt for red surely) and "sumptuous interior trim incorporating specially selected and treated aniline leather". Nice.

The Ferrari FF will go on show at the 81st Geneva Motor Show in March.

If ever Pocket-lint was shallow enough to play the journalism card to get a freebie, then it's now. If Ferrari want us to take one of its hands we'll happily oblige.
