Thursday, Microsoft showed devices running Windows 8 in Taipei, at the Computex trade show. Mike Angiulo, corporate vice president in the Windows division, showed the devices at a Microsoft event.
The new version of Microsoft's flagship operating system, code-named Windows 8, is optimized for use on touchscreen devices such as tablets. It borrows the "live tiles" icons from the Windows Phone screen, which will replace the traditional Windows icons.
