Liveblog: WWDC 2011 keynote on June 6

Apple has already confirmed that Steve Jobs and a team of executives will speak about Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion), iOS 5, and iCloud at this year's Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco. Still, despite the company's unusual decision to start unveiling its plans a little early, plenty of rumors abound on what all of Apple's next-generation products and services will come with. Will Lion users get access to parts of iCloud for free? Will iOS 5 come with improved notifications? When will Lion be released to the public? And then there are the curveballs that Apple has not yet acknowledged: will the company release a new iPhone this summer, or will it be put off until the fall or 2012?

We'll find out the answers soon enough, and if you're watching the Ars liveblog, so will you. Our crack team is poised to bring you the announcements as they happen in both text and picture form, followed by interviews with developers for the remainder of the conference. The event is set to take place at 10am PDT (GMT-7) on Monday, June 6, 2011 (see it in your timezone).
